Oolagah Lake is an Oklahoma-turned-California e-book creator and distributor with an audience full of young readers.
One of the most exciting times working with them was for the release of their 2015 novel, Away Boy. I compiled and hosted a Facebook giveaway for the new book, which brought in viewers from across the globe.
Spiritual and uplifting ebooks for young readers
One of the strategies that worked best during this campaign was targeting the readers by calling out specific cities.
As this book was based in Oklahoma (the hometown of the author), I used the Oklahoma hashtag to get extra attention for its release.
I made sure to include the book's cover in this post because it's been shown that images are twice as likely to receive engagement on social media.
