Seed Propeller aims to help local Brisbane businesses go green.
New Farm-based Seed Propeller has one goal: to inspire a healthier Australia through their social media marketing practice.
Seed Propeller works with natural and organic food companies, smoothie shops, farmer's markets, and other "healthy businesses" to find new customers using social media.
This most often takes the form of creating marketing strategies, designing Facebook advertisements, and building web pages in order to reach the business' target audience.
As part of this effort to help businesses and their customers live a healthier life, the company’s website states, “Making a conscious choice about the food we eat can transform our bodies and minds, and is a key component to a wholesome lifestyle.”
Seed Propeller's effects are felt across the country
This service has already impacted over 30 businesses across the country. One of the first brands to work with Seed Propeller was the nationally-recognised Darryl’s Peanut Butter, a brand that needed a website refresh in mid-2016. “Brian has been a pleasure to work with,” Queensland-based Manager Trent says. “Great communication throughout the whole process…business has already noticeably increased.”
Here’s what Brian, Seed Propeller's founder, says about the company's choice to focus specifically on healthy food:
“Eating a natural and healthful diet is what’s made the difference in my happiness and in my life. I want to help others realise the difference that healthy food can make in their life too.”
And as for whether the service itself makes a difference, the numbers speak for themselves. It's shown that people are 71% more likely to purchase based on something they saw on social media.
More and more businesses around the world and right here in Australia are experiencing a spike in both sales and popularity by shifting toward a healthier (and most of the time, plant-based) menu. Plant-based food topped $3.1 billion last year in the USA, and the market continues to grow.
